In the Light of God’s Peace"The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock!
May the God of my salvation be exalted!" (Psalm 18:46)
"Thus it is written, that the Messiah should suffer
and rise from the dead on the third day,
and that repentance and forgiveness of sins
should be proclaimed in his name to all nations." (Luke 24:46-47)
My brothers and sisters,
As night falls and the world rests in the quiet embrace of God, let us remember that we are called to walk in the light of His peace. The prophet Isaiah reminds us that the Lord’s house is a beacon for all nations, where swords are beaten into plowshares and spears into pruning hooks (Isaiah 2:4). This is not a distant dream—it is the promise of Christ, who conquered death so that we might live in the light of His resurrection.
Tonight, let us lay down the weapons of our hearts—the grudges, the fears, the divisions—and allow the Lord to transform them into instruments of peace. For the same God who is our Rock and our Salvation is also the One who sends us forth to proclaim forgiveness, to heal, and to reconcile.
May the Lord bless you and keep you in the shadow of His mercy.
May His light guide your steps even in the darkest night.
And may the peace of the Risen Christ, who walks with us always,
be your comfort and your strength until the dawn breaks anew.

"O Senhor vive! Bendita seja a minha Rocha!
Seja exaltado o Deus da minha salvação!" (Salmo 18:46)
"Assim está escrito que o Cristo haveria de sofrer
e ressuscitar dos mortos no terceiro dia,
e que em seu nome seria pregado
o arrependimento para perdão dos pecados
a todas as nações." (Lucas 24:46-47)
Meus irmãos e irmãs,
Enquanto a noite cai e o mundo repousa no silêncio de Deus, lembremo-nos de que somos chamados a caminhar na luz da Sua paz. O profeta Isaías nos recorda que a casa do Senhor é farol para todas as nações, onde as espadas se transformam em arados e as lanças, em foices (Isaías 2:4). Isso não é um sonho distante—é a promessa de Cristo, que venceu a morte para que vivamos na luz da Sua ressurreição.
Nesta noite, deixemos cair as armas do nosso coração—as mágoas, os medos, as divisões—e permitamos que o Senhor as transforme em instrumentos de paz. Pois o mesmo Deus que é nossa Rocha e nossa Salvação é Aquele que nos envia para proclamar o perdão, para curar e para reconciliar.
Que o Senhor vos abençoe e guarde à sombra da Sua misericórdia.
Que a Sua luz ilumine vosso caminho mesmo na noite mais escura.
E que a paz de Cristo Ressuscitado, que caminha conosco sempre,
seja vosso consolo e força até que a aurora renasça.
